I provide unparalleled, first class, customized service. This is evident in my post reception surveys. I take the responsibility I am entrusted with VERY seriously and it shows.
I have been a professional disc jockey for more than 20 years. I began my career in radio and found that I truly enjoyed working with couples so I made weddings and other special events my sole focus. During my radio career, I was named “Colorado Major Market Evening Disc Jockey of the Year”, 2000, 2001, 2005, and nominated 2002. With my background in radio, combined with professional Master of Ceremonies training, I have the skills needed to deliver announcements that are clear and direct.
I take the time to get to know my clients through personal meetings. I will meet with you at a location and time that is convenient for you, or conduct the planning via phone or FaceTime/Skype. A large part of my service is the assistance with the planning and the coordination of ceremonies and receptions. I am not “the wedding planner”, but I know events from an entertainer’s perspective. My goal is for you to relax and enjoy your day. I ensure this is possible by spending time with you learning what is important to you on your special day.
I use a seven page wedding planner that I have personally developed over the years to make sure that all the right questions are asked prior to the event and to be certain that every detail we discussed is carried out exactly as you wish.
I am a single unit operator:
When you book my service, you get me. My name is on the contract. I am not a professional salesperson, selling you on an event and then sending someone else out to DJ your event. I am your disc jockey. Over the years, my clients have told me that they found this comforting.
My company standards are in writing as part of our contract. This ensures that I am accountable. I do not drink alcohol at events and I maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times.
I have an extensive knowledge of music and a library of over 20,000 songs. I know what to play (in accordance with your wishes) to set the mood and keep the party moving. Whether it is on the dance floor or during a special portion of the evening, I play requests at your direction. I play the types of music that you ask to hear. This is established, in detail, during our planning meetings. What you do not want me to play is equally as important to me as your specific requests.
I wear a suit and tie unless otherwise specified by you. My appearance should be a representation of you.
With my service, there are no hidden charges. All fees are clearly stated on our contract.
I include a wireless microphone for toasts and speeches. I always bring two full sets of equipment to every event. Many times I will have a set-up for the ceremony site and a separate set-up for the reception site so we can move seamlessly from the ceremony, to cocktails, to dinner with no breaks in the music.
On your wedding day, you need to know that everything will go smoothly. This depends heavily on the reliability of your vendors. It’s your day, and you need to be able to count on your DJ to be there and to perform according to your plan. All you should have to do is show up and enjoy yourself.
With me, your phone calls and emails will always be promptly returned. When planning your wedding, I know how important it is to be accessible to you. My reviews say it best, so please feel free to read the testimonials.
I always bring two sets of equipment to every event. I also have carefully selected a network of DJs that I like and trust to fill in for me in the event of an emergency. I care for my clients. Making sure that your wedding day is perfect is my number one priority.
I love my job. I have excellent reviews and references. My past clients are “raving fans”; they are very pleased with the service I provided to them. Every party has been a success.
Congratulations on your engagement!
